Really? I'm remembering all the way back to 2nd grade, and my teacher asked us the exact question: Is 0 even or odd? I said even, like a lot of other people, but she said it was neither. Zero is in its own class.

Well the simple thing that makes me happy is going on a vacation. I'm leaving at 9 o clock today (pacific time) for Costa Rica! Now hopefully I just won't get sick (I have a bad stomach). For example, I got sick in SF, and I live in the Bay Area.

Your teacher was wrong. Next time, ask a guy.

Oh wow, I got it mixed up. She was asking us if zero was either positive or negative. Now I remember correctly. She said it's accepted as both.

Alright, I'm off to the airport. Hope to see everyone at FoRT in a week!

Have a great trip!!

Lil Lexi was relaxing in the middle of my flower bed: gosh, did she look adorable! She was surrounded by little pink blooming dianthus. I didn't have my camera.

Re: What simple things make you happy?

Hubby got home from work before 9 p.m for the first time in a week. It was nice to actually eat dinner WITH him instead of holding it for him.
So my simple pleasure was getting to eat dinner with my hubby and have a chance to actually talk about stuff, more than just the basics. We've been 2 ships passing in the night for the past week.

Going into the laundry room and finding our kitty Clara in the clothes basket just waking up from a nap.

Re: What simple things make you happy?

Less than 24 hours away from flying home to see my family - a once a year event - and then on to a family tradition - Chautauqua, NY. Love that place with a passion. Wish I could afford to go every year.
