That's wild that you posted that Queenie. I was out for a walk yesterday and I walked by some bush that at first I thought was honeysuckle but wasn't.

I thought about growing up down south and how we used to pick the blossoms and suck the "honey" out of them.

You're correct, it smells heavenly.

a hand-made card by a friend... well, I do that a lot to my friends, I give them cards when they come back from a trip etc. now I am finally getting some too!

My 5-year old son snuggling up to me since I know that time is slipping away and him still being my snuggle bug is a precious and short lived thing.

My husband coming home in 2 weeks after an 8 month deployment! Now that has me thrilled and happy beyond belief. It's been a long...very long....separation.

Guess they aren't all that simple but they are what is making me smile all day right now.

Something really simple that always brings a smile to my face. A butterfly fluttering past, I love them and chase after them with my camera lol.

Being 90 minutes away from a 3-day weekend. I love the anticipation part of it. I'm not even doing anything exciting... mowing, gardening, reading.

We had fresh potatoes for dinner yesterday (well, with meat also)

. There's so many things you can do with potatoes, but in the end nothing beats fresh potatoes with butter and some chives.
