    I already messed up!


    I am so embarassed. I just posted - to the Surviver Forum, I think- that I am brand new to this and was asking fo help on how/where to get a cool identifier thing like everyone else has. Anyway, as I said, it went to the wrong place. If y'all will be a tiny bit patient with me I am sure I will get it soon. So can anyone answer my question?

    Summer, no big deal. Asking a question is never out of place.

    So, the identifier. I assume you mean where it says "FORT Newbie" currently for you? That's your title, and will automatically change with post counts...But if you want a custom one, then do this:

    1) Click on "user cp" at the top of this screen.

    2) Click on "Edit Profile".

    3) About 2/3 of the way down, there's a section that says "Custom User Text". Put what you want in there, and save it.

    To change your avatar (the picture under your name), click on the "user cp", then on "edit options", and at the bottom, there's your avatar setting. You can change it from there.

    If you go through a lot of hammers each month, I don't think it necessarily means you're a hard worker.
    It may just mean that you have a lot to learn about proper hammer maintenance.
