Sorry S1F, I can't make animated pictures any smaller - it's the way they're encoded.

    California Girl

I wanted to depict the essence of California in my avatar even though the background is from the Bahamas. I love the colors and the design.

California, my home state, is defined by its beautiful coastline and blue skies and lots of sunshine allowing us a nice outdoor life.

What people don't know is that the marine layer that comes off the Pacific Ocean is very prevalent during certain months and the sun doesn't come out until noon sometimes. But that's what keeps us from burning up.

The cute outfit is like something I would wear that you can be seen in anywhere along the beach or inland. Very California!

CaliGirl.. I love your avatar.. But I have to say, for the longest time, I thought your av was of some sort of tool. It looks all silver and jagged like a chainsaw or something.

If you go through a lot of hammers each month, I don't think it necessarily means you're a hard worker.
It may just mean that you have a lot to learn about proper hammer maintenance.

    Thank you...

It's all in the eye of the beholder, Miss G.

(I had the advantage of seeing it in alarge size first and then resizing it, it's quite stunning.)

I picked mine because some people told me my last one was just a little controversial. And I wanted a change. So, I went with a more down-to-earth one. lolz...
