How/Why did you choose your avatar?

How would I be able to add in the orange ribbon to my avatar?
I'm sure a lot of us would like to add it to our AV's in memory of Zac.

I just paste this ribbon to the picture I'm using as my av after I resize it and before I download. I use paint, very simple, click on edit, paste from. choose the file and there you are. Feel free to download this ribbon and use it.

Well, I went into paint and tried to add in te ribbon. When I went to edit, however, there is no option for me to paste or copy in. The only option was select all.

ETA - OK. I figured out my mistake - I'd been looking for paste instead of paste from. Sorry.
However, when I add in the ribbon, I can no longer get my kitty to do pushups, it seems. Thanks. I will change my byline.

1) got my own ribbon JPG from a google search.
2) copy/pasted your avatar gif to my machine.
3) Opened up a GIF animation editing program and brought your GIF into it.
4) Took 1 frame into Photoshop, added the ribbon in the corner so the background would match, cropped it down to just the ribbon & background.
5) Copied the ribbon w/matching background onto each frame of your GIF.
6) saved the new animation.

Voila.

If I had a more comprehensive gif animation program, that would have been simpler. As it is, though, I did it in less than 20 minutes. I love making anigifs.
