How/Why did you choose your avatar?

I've always liked Marilyn Monroe. This avatar is a pic of her when she was known as Norma Jean Baker Dougherty before she was famous.

I've seen that picture before, but it always freaks me out. That looks just like me when I was 16. Only one or two pictures of Norma Jean looked like me, but the ones that do look SO much like me that it freaks me out when I see them. Then, of course, she had plastic surgery NOT to look like me. I'm not sure how that makes me feel.

I've always personally thought Norma Jean Baker was MUCH prettier than Marilyn (even though they're the same woman...). I bet even now a days though Marilyn would still be considered a sexual goddess in our times...

I chose my current av, because i love the fall season. Winter comes all too soon, so I wanted to choose a fall-themed av before winter arrives.

I have chosen Finley, my newest, because I'm destined to become a crazy cat lady someday so I might as well start advertising now. Finley will probably remain up there for some time because trying to set up a new avatar (done it twice now) literally caused beads of blood to well up on my forehead. Crazy cat ladies are not really known for their tech skills.
