Wow, never thought I'd see so many sheep or the Reverend Jim Jones. I like my av too much to change it now but I've made a more subtle modification.

Oh no! Does this mean you're not tougher than Osten anymore?

I like my Burton av and don't feel like changing for awhile.

Good guess! My avatar is from a Japanese cover of the Elric saga, illustrated by Yoshitaka Amano. Amano is fabulous! Lately he's been working with Neil Gaiman on "Hero", I believe.

But my tagline actually alludes to the upcoming ROTK (I thought it was obvious! )

    ETA: TOO, TOO MANY SHEEP.

Well it depends on where you look, but there are whole web sites and even posting boards based around these avatars. I get my basic avatars from a site that actually categorizes them into blondes, red heads, brunettes:

    http://www.thedollpalace.com/Dolls_l..._brown_red.php
    http://www.thedollpalace.com/Dolls_l...lls_blonds.php

And yes, there are even men dolls and if a couple posts, you can even get couples:

And if you are REALLY computer savy (which I am not) you can make your own doll. They give you all of the body parts and you put together your doll. You pick everything from how they stand/sit to their hair to what they wear (over and under their clothes):

I figured the tag line, but the av screamed in my head 'Michael Moorcock'.....

No, still tougher than Osten or at least my dog is. (I think she likes sheep) It's true I don't like ketchup or salt too much, I was going to put fries but it's too long.
