    Joe, that's so funny! We're having a minature show here this week (I think). I did a story on these once and got to go out to the trainer's farm .. it was great, great fun. They are wonderful animals.

    sorry for the delay on the replies, my Isp had a major phone outtage and all lines going to that area dropped out for half the night.

    They just had the western reginals here in reno. this was one of the horses, geronimo. First time I have ever seen them in person. they are cute.

    Also to answer firegirls questions. I heard that they can be house trained so they can live in the house. also if they grow over 34" then they are too big to be called a miniture horse. they measure them from the last part of the mane.

    There is a family down the street that raises miniature horses. I don't get it. I thought a pony was just like a horse, only they had to be under a certain amount of "hands" tall. If that's the case, how can they be horses?
