Seriously...I never assumed it would be instant....because my first use of them was logging on and receiving one..however the person sending it was not online at the time...so I assumed it wasn't instant.

it be you! - p.m. is a quick note but not i.m. since you don't know whether they're online or not unless you check on the home page first

Did you know that if you send someone a p.m. it automatically goes into "message tracking" and I believe that if you view your "message tracking" it will tell you if the person you sent the p.m. to is online. Also, I am pretty sure that the p.m. box has a capacity limit, so when you are cleaning out your p.m. box, you have to clear your inbox, sent items and message tracking or you won't be able to receive new p.m.'s.

Does it make much of a difference if the thread was longer yesterday? You still have the answer to your original question.

Just makes me wonder what the criteria is for having a post deleted...I thought i was in the general discussion forum...and there were no existing threads on the topic in question, I didnt use any profanity, reference any body parts, sexual activity, or otherwise offensive topics...so, do posts get deleted for G.P?
