Halloween!

Halloween! Woohoo! I love to dress up and be silly! I have not done it in so long.

My costume just arrived AND IT FITS! I am so excited. I am Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty. I cannot wait to do makeup and everything to complete the costume. Fun fun!

We are going to a party Sat night and then on Wed we are taking the kids to Fall Festival at the church. I cannot wait!...did I say that already?

What are you doing/wearing for Halloween?

I am designated passer out of candy (I have door duty) I will be wearing a witches costume and doing my best impression of the Wicked Witch of the West. My 2 year old grandson will be dressed as the cowardly lion. I am hoping the rest of the family will follow suit and do the entire cast of the Wizzard of Oz.

I'm going with Sher's idea. I'm going to be Clark Kent.

My daughter is going to be a skeleton, my son will be Blue (from Blue's Clues), and my infant son is Batman (that was the nickname my daughter gave him when he was in the womb ).

Fluff, please tell me your son is going as Young-Cool-Elvis and not Fat-Old-Burned-Out-Elvis! If he's going as the latter, then he's even more strange than you're letting on!

I'm not dressing up this year, either. I'll be taking my one-year-old around the office in the afternoon. He'll be sporting the "Cute Little Frog" costume that his mom picked out. I was pulling for Spiderman, but lost. Too bad, too. My son as Spidey and Paulie's youngest as Batman and we could have had a burgeoning new Justice League on our hands!

Months ago we thought about dressing me up as Dr. Evil and my son as Mini-me, but the little guy grew too much hair in the mean time.

He's going as an early 70's Elvis when his voice was great and his face was beautiful, before he "bulked up.
There are so many kids going to playgroup and school as super heroes so my boys decided they wanted to go as something different.

That's very cool, Fluff. Honestly, I think if my son had been Spiderman he would have been one of hundreds. The cutest, of course, but still.

Door duty! The best of both worlds. You get to pass out the candy, see the cute little costumes and pick out the good stuff for yourself! I myself like the bit o'honey and the hershey crackles. How 'bout you?
