    What am I?"
    The letter "D"?

As I look at this riddle again, technically, it could be, and very is more than one letter, hence the reference to 'we' several times.

I change my answer to the letters: 'a', 'd', and e'

wow, looks like it could be A or D

I asked my son about Agents.. all he could think of was something like a parachute... a needle was thrust through to sew it, but it remains above all....

Should the letter 'e' be included in the answer? It appears in 'deepest shadows' but maybe 'deepest' was meant as a descriptive for locating the 'we' to which the riddle is referring and to which the word 'shadows' is the targeted word.

Upon re-analysis, I agree with you cali. Officailly the answer should be the letters A and D.

I still say it's only "D", reason being..."deepest of shadows" the D is exact center of the words SHADOWS.

Ok Perc, I'll go along with your theory; you made a good case. a2d will have to be the final judge.

Well... No... I've been dropping hints like HECK, so take a look around... You may find cause for thought...

Either way, I'm a bowler, so I've got to go work on my game...

PK: That is INSANELY close, though...

Here's a grisly one that stumped me when I first saw it:

A man takes his wife to see a movie. It's a Western, and during one of the shootouts, the man shoots her. When the movie ends, he leaves with his dead wife and nobody stops him. Why not?
When you're ten years old and a car drives by and splashes a puddle of water all over you, it's hard to decide if you should go to school like that or try to go home and change and probably be late. So while he was trying to decide, I drove by and splashed him again. - Jack Handey

He's in the Movie! (The wife who was shot left in the truck, because she's on the film in the back of the truck off to the next theatre)
