What the heck...can't believe I've missed this thread for so long.

Okay, just wanted to add this candy, does anyone remember it? Loved the weirdness of it: liquid inside wax. Ewww...but yum...but weird...but good.

Oh, sorry, no offense but I find those to be really gross! It's the wax.

And to whoever said the best candy was Jude Law! If we're going to talk about that, how about Heath Ledger and Josh Hartnett? They're pretty yummy themselves!

Shazzer, I'm confused. I've never seen this type of candy in Canada. Are those bottles truly made from wax? Are the bottles somehow...edible?

Or are you supposed to just quaff the liquid and discard the wax? But then, what would be the point of making the bottles out of wax?

I remember those, Shaz. I also loved the wax lips which they would usually sell around Haloween. AND I'm ashamed to admit it, but I used to love those bubble gum cigarettes... the ones you put up to your lips, real cool-like, blew through the end of the 'cigarette' and a puff of floury smoke would come out.

    Geez... I'm embarrassed now.

I babysit a nieghborhood kid who loves those. He brought a ton of them once. They are truly made out of wax. You are supposed to bite a hole in the wax and suck out the liquid stuff. I know, it sounds weird. That's okay, though. It tasted good for a little while.

I'm not much of a chocolate person but I do enjoy having it some of the time. I especially like Toblerone, Reeses Cups, Swedish Fish, Twix, and my favorite, Babe Ruth. Mmm...

Jewelsy, that is SO me! I've done that with just plain candy cigs. It's healthier than real cigs and it's fun and you can pretend to do smoke, yet you really aren't. Plus, it tastes good! I admit to doing that...

The whole excitement with the waxy bottles was chewing up the wax afterwards (yeah, probably gross, but I was EIGHT, and that's what's cool then )

Same thing with the waxy lips. Chewing goodness, chewing fun. More fun than bubble gum. <---------pretend that's a giant bubble gum bubble.

And I loooovved candy cigarettes. Heck, if I could score some now I would. Love them. Tasty goodness.

My favorite candies seem to be the most basic ones. Marshall Field's Frango Mint-Chocolates, Plain M&M's, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, Almond Joy and those Swedish Fish. But to me nothing compares to just a plain Hershey's bar (or sometimes almond).

Let's see, what class in high school did I get the cigar gum? It might have been my bio class Freshman year...

Candy dots? Yum! Those things are great...well eating the paper really isn't

I LOVE Now and Laters! They're really good. Unfortunately, they're hard to find at all.
