I love magazines, but it's so hard to find the time to read them all. Especially that darn Newsweek!! Here's my list:
    -Cosmo
    -Harper's Bazaar
    -YM
    -Newsweek

Wow! What a variety of mags. Definitely think that's awesome. I'm such a dork and only read the one kind.

Oh actually, I forgot but I was subscribed to a football mag called NFL Insider (like you wouldn't have known that from the title ) but nonetheless, I might still be, it's not like it gets published much. It was good too. If you like football that is, and I love it!

Us Weekly pretty much cover it for me as far as subscriptions

but . . . if Cosmo has some particularly trashy article listed on the cover, I must have it!

When you're ten years old and a car drives by and splashes a puddle of water all over you, it's hard to decide if you should go to school like that or try to go home and change and probably be late. So while he was trying to decide, I drove by and splashed him again. - Jack Handey

Yippee!! As of last night, I'm a subscriber to Maxim. My first FREE issue arrived in the mail. That's one whole year for FREE!

Does anyone subscribe to Bon Apetit? Would you recommend it? Or is there a better food mag out there?

I do, John. There ae some really great recipes and articles, but sometimes the recipes can get a little over the top. It depends on how much you like to cook and if you like trying new things. They have really good quick recipes in the back of the magazine every month though.

I'm looking for some new and interesting things to try at home that don't require a souz chef and an 8-burner stove

John, if your just looking for the recipes, then I would go to the website rather than subscribe. I do pick up or get a copy occasionally, and find some of the articles to be quite entertaining. There is also a section fo the magazine where the readers ask for their favorite recipes from restaurants and the magazine prints those that have responded. usually very good if somewhat involved.
