    Miss F, it's all good until your 82-year-old Grandma says "e-mail me later. I might be afk, but I'll brb."

    aj, I could totally see the bowler in the fortune-telling smilie. But now that greenflute and Paulie are present, I will never think of a bowler or fortune-teller again!

    I definitely act out and . My eyes really do that, owing to being single for almost 3 months (oh, the agony)!

    Doesn't this -->
    look like a smiling moose/deer/antelope/martian, but with reverberating horns or antennae?

    And I'm not sure whether to be relieved or go ahead and start looking for a life boat.

    Folks, don't drink and go boating. You could crash into a manatee or the Coast Guard.

    And regarding the stories of people using web abbreviations in daily conversation, well, I've found myself saying, "WTF" a lot lately, instead of the real thing.
