No, not at all. I'm not getting yelled at, but I can tell that my failure to notice details that others find important can hurt their feelings, especially since I usually do notice those kinds of changes. Using the phrase "in trouble" was probably overkill.

    Keep stroking, please.
When you're ten years old and a car drives by and splashes a puddle of water all over you, it's hard to decide if you should go to school like that or try to go home and change and probably be late. So while he was trying to decide, I drove by and splashed him again. - Jack Handey

My boyfriend and I had so much trouble with this one that he just lets me drive and he shuts up. It works pretty well.

With my older brothers, it's a different story. They've been driving longer than I have and when I correct them on something, they get SO angry. But the main reason I sideseat drive is I'm so paranoid about getting stopped by police or getting into a car accident or something. Really, it's all for you guys' own good!

Why doesn't he call when he says he will...?

Why does he call two days later and act all surprised I'm getting a little psycho?

If he simply called approx. around the time he said he would (within 16 hours, let's say, to be generous)-- I would not get remotely psycho on his a@#..but no...he gets me thinking he's humped me and left me...geezzzus.

I've got a question to you men out there. You men are always complaining that you don't like all those plasticy Pam An, Carmen Electrica types with implants. Now would you actually turn down one of these bodacious babes if given a chance encounter?

This is unacceptable. If someone says they will call you at a particular time then they should do it. It is inconsiderate of anyone not to call you when they said that they would. They do not value your time. Do not join this person in devaluing your time. Never wait around for a phone call past 30 minutes. If they are not considerate enough to call you in that amount of time then you can move on to other things that you need to do.

If someone says that they will call you back then they should do it in a reasonable amount of time. Still this call should not be waited around for as the time was not specified.

If someone says that they might call you some time then they might, but do not count on it.

I like Feifer's thoughts/suggestions. Really, you have to wonder about people who don't respect your time. When people are continuously unreliable or late (this doesn't include people who give a wide time frame, like, "sometime on Tuesday"), they've basically decided that their time is more valuable than your time. I mean, if they're okay with you waiting around, then they don't respect you.

I don't actually sit around waiting for the phone to ring...I go about my business...but the longer it takes, the more I stew and get really mad.

I'm pretty even-keeled when it comes to dating and guys... but it's getting ridiculous with this one.

Yeah-- he works a lot. Yeah-- we've agreed we aren't going to be boyfriend/girlfriend as we've both just moved to LA from Arkansas/Michigan and aren't in the mood for seriousness...casual dating, i guess. But apparently, we have different ideas of what it means to be casually dating. I am generally reasonable and generous with my time and affection-- but now...I'm getting really miffed. And confused. And a little insulted. Grrrrr.

It'll work out as it should...for better or for worse.
