    Who rules the roost?

In your household, who rules the roost?

My husband would say that I do. He makes the money and I spend it(pay the bills). I am in chargeof the kids, laundry, cleaning, cooking and pet and car care. I am in the roost more hours a day than I am not. I guess that means I am the mother hen.
It occurred to me that no matter how bleak things might seem at times, at least I have a head. ----Stargazer

Yeah, our dog rules the roost. I was just realizing that this morning when it inspired this post.

I know it, Mr. B knows it, and the dog knows it

It was the cat, til her fur/dander started bothering me (Now she lives with my daughter)

It's either my wife or the lab.

Definately my kids. I have two boys. The will continue to rule until they are old enough to take care of themselves.

I "rule" the roost for the same reason as Feif really, I'm home mor than my husband.
We're both very easy going though so we never have confrontations requiring a "final say" really.

We might have slightly different ideas about Christmas decorations though BF

I definitely rule the dorm room. My room mate is a quiet, shy, TOTAL introvert. HEHEHE

My wife rules the roost, and the dog comes second. I come in a lowly third. Everybody bosses me around!

well, i do, but i have him convinced that he does. he's MUCH more domineering than i am, but the place would never been clean, grocs would never be bought and bills would never be paid if it weren't for me. however, that being said, he yells MUCH louder than i do... so when he DOES want something his way, he gets it. i'm a quiet ruler.
