Mrs. Paulie and I seem to make all sorts of decisions based on what's going on with the kids. So they rule the roost, but they don't know it yet. If you asked them, they'd say I do, although Mrs. P has the more explosive temper than me.

Aw, hell! I have no idea.
When you're ten years old and a car drives by and splashes a puddle of water all over you, it's hard to decide if you should go to school like that or try to go home and change and probably be late. So while he was trying to decide, I drove by and splashed him again. - Jack Handey

Our house is run by a 2 year old. Fortunately she makes better decisions than its prior ruler.

Me too JR. Except that I also live with a cat and you know what they say.... dogs have owners, cats have staff.

So I'm #2 in a household of one!
If you go through a lot of hammers each month, I don't think it necessarily means you're a hard worker.
It may just mean that you have a lot to learn about proper hammer maintenance.

    S'weird:

    - I'm in charge of cooking, laundry, and shopping
    - Marc takes repairs and maintenance
    - Sar takes pet care, and does the buget.

I cook all the time because the skills of my roommates are pretty much limited to KD and grilled cheese ;-)

If you ask tvjunkie this question he would definitely say that he rules the roost, and that is fine, but we all know who rules the rooster. Thats where I step in.

I can proudly say that now I rule my own roost all alone with my 2 cats....of course that's just for the time being and they will take over soon, but for now just me. Heck even when I was living with the hubby I ruled the roost, he had very little to say in household matters except "yes, sure, whatever". I know my "kids" will take over this place soon enough when they get over the shock of moving, but for now I'm enjoying "the power".

Agreed. The world needs women to run houses. The world also needs men to do this so women can go out and become President some day...
