Hey Fluff - you must remember Bobby Gimby and CA-NA-DA, the Centennial Song.

Good luck with the baby Eva!

    Julie, that is absolutely precious.

We're just going to take in some of the events around town, enjoy the sun and take it easy.
If you go through a lot of hammers each month, I don't think it necessarily means you're a hard worker.
It may just mean that you have a lot to learn about proper hammer maintenance.

One last time to toot Bobby Gimby's and Canada's horn before takin'in the festivities in Cochrane, Alberta!! Here's some Maple Leaf trivia...

The world's longest highway is the Trans Canada, stretching from Newfoundland to British Columbia for a total of 7,821 km, or 4,860 miles.

Alberta has more United Nations approved heritage parks than any other Canadian province or American state.

Canada's surface area is 9 970 610 square kilometres, making it the second largest country in the world.

Canada contains more than half of the world's lakes.

Canada crosses seven of the world's 24 time zones.

About 27 percent of Canada's landmass is north of the tree line and consists of tundra and ice caps.

More than 50 percent of Canadians live in only two provinces: Ontario and Quebec.

More than 90 percent of Canadians live just 250 kilometres or less from the United States border.

Canada's coastline is 243 791 kilometres, the longest in the world.

There are no skunks in Newfoundland.

British Columbians drove on the left side of the road until January 1, 1922.

Moose were once used to transport mail in the Edmonton area, and Caribou were sometimes used to do the same thing in Labrador.

The first recorded baseball game to be played in North America was in Beachville, Ontario, on June 4, 1838.

"Cyberspace" is a word that Canadian writer William Gibson coined.

The TV is a Canadian invention. So is the electric streetcar, standard time, telephone, hockey, basketball, wireless radio, ginger ale, five-pin bowling, chocolate bar, synchronized swimming, zipper, Velcro, pacemakers, instant mashed potatoes, IMAX, roller skates, kayak, washing machine, newsprint, kerosene, odometer, green ink, lawn sprinkler and the electric light bulb.

...not to mention Tim Horton's double/double with a Canadian Maple!!

Eva - Shoot for Tomorrow . It's my twins B day . They did not co-operate and make sure they got a holiday for their Birthday.

They shot off fireworks on three separate sites on our waterfront . It was very cool.
Plus we get to see the 4 th July fireworks too, since we live so close to the border.
    Great to share

Happy Canada Day - better late (in the day, for most time zones) than never.
