it reminded me of the bamboo under the fingernails torture stories I've heard about. I am so glad I'm not alone.

I've been emtophobic since I was about 5 ... that's the fear of vomiting. ::shudders:: Don't get me started on this.

TK, I had that fear for most of my childhood also. Seemed to go away once I got to college. Hopefully yours will too.

No I think it's more from drinking too much. I still don't care to vomit, but somehow I just got over it.

Well... Hmm... I am totally afraid of heights. I can stand some of it, depending on the situation and circumstances, of course. Still... I also have this thing about dolls and clowns. I'm not a big clown fan. And dolls... That was all the doing of Child's Play. Too bad I watched every single one. Oh well...

I hope it goes away SOON. I can't sit through movies since someone always seems to throw up in movies. Once my friend and I were watching a rented video of "Bring It On" in my room, and suddenly that scene came on where one of the cheerleaders vomits all over her coach, and I screamed and turned off the TV. I had my eyes shut tight and my fingers plugged into my ears and was rocking in a fetal position as my friend fast forwarded through that part.

Last December my sister was sick all night and even threw up a little on my school shoes (which I have to wear because it's part of my uniform). I had my wonderful brother clean them for me, but when I got to school I was still freaking out from it so my friend and I switched shoes for the day. It was so silly.

I also still remember every kid that threw up in my first grade class and what month they were sick in. It's so insane, I can't stand it.

TK. Yup I was just like that too. I even vomitted in front of my entire 3 grade class. That didn't help my fear. When I was little I had decided that I wasn't going to be able to have children since they vomitted so often. I think I just grew out of the fear as I got older and experience more instances with it.

I'm at the point where I don't want kids because of it! That and because my sister is such a brat that I don't like kids at all. I threw up all over my first grade teacher's desk, on Valentine's Day. I still remember the shocked expression on my her face. Priceless.
