    Wish me luck please

    I am taking my Cub Scouts to spend 2 nights on the U.S.S. Yorktown this weekend.I have 75 boys and 40 parents going so we will be a very large group to keep under control.

    There will be 5 Congressional Medal Of Honor recipients on board this weekend working with the scouts and i pray that i can impress upon the boys the enormous amount of respect that these men deserve.I may be more excited to be going than they are at this point.

    When I was young I did not appreciate things like that, but wish I had paid attention. I missed out on alot of wonderful information. I wish you well on your trip.

    Wow, TVJ! That would be an AWESOME trip. My father-in-law is a HUGE WWII junkie (has a large collection of weapons, flags, helmets, etc, not to mention hundreds of books on the subject), and his passion for it's history has rubbed off on me somewhat. Heck, he took his wife to Normandy for the D-Day celebrations this year! When I tell him about your trip he'll probably go run off to start a troop so HE can go!

    Good luck keeping the youngsters in line!
