How did you first end up at the FORT?

I was just wondering how most people ended up here. I went here several times to read Survivor, TAR, etc. recaps from links at sirlinksalot. Then, one day I realized you could register after several months of just reading the recaps, and I did.

The first time I came here was when I had searched for one of the AI2 contestants and this came up. Fluff said something I didn't agree with, so I had to join immediately and make my opinion known. I did and then got reprimanded for it and the rest is history.

I did a Google search for Survivor websites - came up with the Survivor Amazon Challenge website, which featured recaps and precaps from the FORT. I didn't lurk for long!

That's interesting. I've never heard of the Survivor Amazon Challenge website. Never knew we had links there, either. Good to know.

Google Search on American Idol led me to a lobeck recap. Great read, got me to lurk for a bit, and then I decided to delurk and I haven't shut up since.

I think there is an old buried thread on this somewhere -- but I ended up here after Googling Joe Millionaire and finding a link to "Bambi's Diary"

Been here, addicted, and having fun every since.

I originally ended up here because I was watching AI2 the night that Charles Grigsby was eliminated...and the ending of the show was preempted because the war in Iraq had begun.

I really wanted to find out the results, so I searched long and hard on the internet and, lo and behold, stumbled upon one of Lobeck's recaps!

I read it, then went back and read all of the previous ones, and they all were so hilariously good! I lurked on the AI forums for a long time and finally joined because I wanted to get my opinion in! j/k

I have since branched out to the rest of the site, and now I fear I'm just addicted!

Mantenna, I think that's how I came to the FORT also. I missed the results night for Charles and just did a google search. I came across this message board and couldn't believe people just sat here and chatted about AI. I finally joined, and of course couldn't keep my mouth shut, and now I'm stuck here.
