actually we were at the CBS chat with Heidi- my personal favorite by the way! Classic- we had a great time ripping on her... sarcasm, fake questions- the usual CBS Survivor chat thing- but with a perfect target (Heidi)... Feif and Miss F just mentioned i should check out the FoRT, i lurked, and now they cant get rid of me... i think alot of people end up at the FoRT via the CBS Survivor chat.

I think we snagged a good one, don't you Feif?
If you go through a lot of hammers each month, I don't think it necessarily means you're a hard worker.
It may just mean that you have a lot to learn about proper hammer maintenance.

I ended up here during American Idol 2. I found Lobeck's recaps and stayed ever since. Looking forward to Lobes' recaps for AI3

I came here during/after TAR 3. I hated Flo so much, and when I searched the net for TAR 3, I stumbled on the FORT. And another forum, that supposedly had interviews with Flo, or maybe it was that Flo was posting there to try to defend herself. Either way, that other site(don't know or care which one) had pulled her posts...and someone over here had them archived. I came in and lurked, just reading about everyone's animosity toward Flo. I dont think I had signed up yet, but somehow the FORT had my email addy, and I was sent an email saying "come on back". I did and the rest is history.

I could be remembering this all wrong...its been awhile since TAR3, and I've killed numerous brain cells since then......

I saw a link to here in the Survivor usenet newsgroup, I think.

It's been a couple of months so I don't remember exactly. How pathetic is that?

Sounds like a lot fun! I was never able to participate in those last year because I was in school during that time. My school has just about every site blocked out so I was SOL!

I think you made a great choice by coming here, though! I'm glad you did!

You know I'm not exactly sure how I ended up here at this great place but I am almost positive that it was related to AI....I believe I started out at sirlinksalot and then ended up here....I lurked for awhile before I finally posted.....

Funny thing is that I truly can't remember what it was like before I knew the FORT!!!!

Although I was heavily recruited by all the major (and many of the minor) porn reality TV sites, I chose FORT because I can say any fool thing I want and the site rules prevent people from calling me an idiot. Example: GWB is the best president in the history of the US, his policies are well thought out, and his speeches offer great insight into the human condition.

Actually, whatever my home page was in 2004 had a link to a story about Big Brother, and that had a reference to a Hepcat recap. I found the recap specifically, and FORT in general, to be a whole lot funnier than anything else I was reading on-line.
