Tattoos and Piercings?

Shazzer, I would endure the pain of a foot tattoo with a smile to be a Dixie Chick.
And sure, I'd get a temporary tattoo (that doesn't involve a needle, right?) just for the heck of it, but I doubt I'll ever get the real thing. I'm not a fan of needles.

one more thought: The Dixie Chicks get chicken feet tattooed on the top of their feet everytime they have an album that goes gold. That must frikkin hurt, there's no fat to cusion the needles. bleah

Actually Duxxy, the fatty parts of the body hurt more than the boney parts. Don't ask me why, but they do. I have a dolphin on my ankle and it didn't hurt. I have a butterfly on my lower back which didn't hurt, but the desing that is around the butterfly going out to the sides of my back (you know the part, usually where the tire is LOL) hurt the most. When I asked the tattoo artist if it was going to hurt, he told me not the middle of your back, but the sides would. Boy o Boy was he ever right.

I don't know Duxxy, but it hurt like he!! I kept telling the tattoo artist that he told me it wouldn't hurt. He said yeah I told you the MIDDLE of your back wouldn't hurt. I said NOTHING about your sides.

I love both of them. I sometimes forget that I have them until someone compliments me on it. The one on my lower back is a conversation starter, which sometimes gets me in trouble with hubby.

The worst one is the one I hear is done by the Maori. They tatoo every part of the body using just a hammer and needle and some ink. Its supposed to be an excruitating ordeal and a rite of passage for some men.
