That's what slang is for right?
    True...

Well, the AGGs have the ability to make good things seem bad...and I am the serious type, so maybe that's why I don't really like the phrase "you rock" as much as I should.

pet peeve----"ain't"...HATE IT HATE IT HATE IT. It completely cheapens a person and makes them sounds quite uneducated. Whoever started this trend of henious grammer should be slapped swiftly across the mouth. I also dislike it when people use "seen" in the incorrect way---"I seen it yesterday" i guess thats not really slang..and I dont know if anyone says it where all of you are, but here it's big, and it bugs the living daylights out me!

It's not slang, but my biggest grammatical pet peeve is when people use good instead of well!

ie: "He sang that song so good" or "I did so good."

    ARGH! I can't stand that!!!

I used to do that, Anna, but I kept getting it drilled into my head and now I say well a lot more now. Although I'll slip sometimes.

Personally, I find slang to be fun. But I don't like "played out" much at all.

I hate it when people say "seen" wrong, too! Ugh, it's like, grrr...we learned to say "saw" in like 2nd grade! Blargh!

Okay, if we're talking annoying grammar habits, it's a pet peeve of mine when people use lend, loan, lent, and borrow etc. incorrectly. As in, "He borrowed me his bike," or "I'm gonna borrow him my truck." Ugh.

I've also never liked the phrase, "My bad." Never liked it.

I can't stand when someone says "axed" instead of "asked".

One of the emode tests posted in the games forum reminded me of this one:

"You're so money." Ack! I saw Swingers, you saw Swingers, we all ^#@!&#* saw Swingers. It was 1996. Let it go.
