Shameless plug: I go to my site http://ears.ashyre.com which is a bizaare story my friend and I wrote in high school.

I go to http://www.sirlinksalot.net to look up links to articles for reality shows.

I also still read my old campus newspaper - http://www.dailynorthwestern.com (Sad, but my old friend was this year's editor).

I like to read amusing articles at http://www.thesmokinggun.com.

I also read The Onion too (although I usually just pick the paper copy up at the news stand on my corner - it's free). http://www.theonion.com

I periodically check for updates to the Reality TV Hall of Shame at http://www.realitytvhallofshame.com.

I also like looking at my pregnancy calendar at http://pregnancytoday.com but that won't interest most of you...

I read the Indian County News, which is American Indian news about mainly us Plains Indians up in the Dakotas, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Montana, etc. at http://www.indiancountrynews.com

    I also read newspapers online: http://www.nytimes.com, http://www.dailypennsylvanian.com, http://www.phillyweekly.com, http://www.philly.com/mld/dailynews, http://www.chicagotribune.com, http://www.suntimes.com/index.

I also go online and read book reviews at http://www.amazon.com and http://www.barnesandnoble.com and http://www.nytimes.com/indexes/2002/...iew/index.html and buy them used online through price comparison sites, like http://www.addall.com, http://www.allbookstores.com/index, http://www.bestwebbuys.com/books, and http://www.bublos.com.

Almost forgot, I also like reading the Boondocks comics at http://www.ucomics.com/boondocks.

Well, that's all I could think of (actually I cheated by looking at my bookmarks). Most of the sites are pretty boring to most people, though...

What cool websites do you visit daily....

I always visit on a daily basis...

www.smokinggun.com because I love to see funny mug shots and learn the true reason behind things.

www.snopes2.com because the email pictures that you get they tell you whether or not it is true. It is a site about urban legends.

www.tvguide.com because I LOVE reading the entertainment section- the author is FUNNY as all heck.

What funny or good websites do you go to and why?

    http://www.anandtech.com for computer hardware reviews;

http://www.newegg.com for computer hardware and software at a well-organized site, very reasonable prices, fast shipping and excellent customer service.

    Less geeky:

http://www.bartleby.com for classic works of fiction and non-fiction--free and online.

http://www.frommers.com - advice for the cheap traveler.

Here's a site for you... Ever heard of Tucker Max?? I'll warn you, his humor is not for everybody... He's sort of a frat boy that never grew up... I don't know how true any of the stories are... I assume there is some truth... But I happen to think he's damn funny...

I love the Onion and Snopes, but I don't check them every day. Another huge favourite of mine is imdb.com. It's the best info source for all things tv or movie wise.

I am also a big message board fan. I post regularly at the bsbrigade.com,with is just a general discussion site; and also am a mod at two very very small boards, one focused on tenchi animation and the other is devoted to Monty Python.

The funny thing is, I know nothing about Tenchi and only a bit about Python.
Men are like slinkies... not really good for anything, but you can't help but smile as you see one tumble down the stairs.

I'm pretty boring. I'm always at The Fort.
If I get too disillusioned with my happy-a$$ self, I switch to one of many of my credit card sites, check out the balance owing, and float back down to real life.

I visit Google almost every day, I also check out eBay a lot and I like to go to CNN for news, also local news sites KATU and KGW.

A couple of times a week I visit the Oregon and Washington Lottery pages to check my numbers because I just know that someday I'm going to win the lottery!
