Nope, you sure don't. I may not like their politics, but I respect their right to have the political opinions they do have. I have a very, very good friend and she and I are on complete opposite ends of the political spectrum. I don't agree with her, she doesn't agree with me, but we both agree not to discuss it. She is a great person and I don't hold her political views against her or think of her as less of a good person because of the way she votes. But she doesn't spout off about it around me and neither do I around her. But celebs use their status to do that and I do not like that. Yep, Shelly Duval, could not remember her name. And Woody Allen---CREEPY, surprised no one mentioned him before. Hmm, what is it about the name Woody. Oh, maybe I just answered my own question. ![]() Kevin Spacey. I just watched something with him in it and it reminded me that I have yet to see any movie in which I liked him. He is just kind of smarmy to me. Donald Sutherland too. Like his son, but the father, he seems a bit pervertish to me.

I even found him attractive (albeit in a sleazy, sad way) in Leaving Las Vegas. Ditto on John Malkovich.

~ Another person who I really don't like now is Robert Englund, as in Freddie Kruger. I've never seen any of the Freddie Kruger movies, because I hate those types of slash & gore 'horror' movies, but just seeing his transition over the years from the sweet lovable alien named Willie in the 'V' tv series to the symbol of creepiness he's become is sad to me. He portrayed such a sweet gentle alien in V. Another guy who's given me the creeps since I first saw him a long time ago in Easy Rider is Jack Nicholson. Ick. He's always seemed slimy and smarmy to me, and I've never found him to be the least bit attractive, just a creepy dirty ol' man, even in his 20's. From that same generation, I never found Robert DiNiro, Al Pacino, or Marlon Brando attractive, either. Gene Hackman had a few moments where I thought he could be old-guyish attractive (as Lex Luthor, for instance). Elliott Gould was so-so. I didn't think Sean Connery was sexy when he was younger, but as he aged and got grey in his air, he then started looking pretty good to me. Here's an odd one. I've always thought Steve Martin was attractive, in an odd way. Not classically attractive, but something about him and his humor just makes me think of him as an attractive and sexy guy.

| From a strictly acting standpoint, I don't get all the fuss about Sean Penn. Whenever he is in a movie, I never see the character's behavior, I find myself thinking, "Oh, look. There's Sean Penn. Emoting." Everything is so intense, no subtlety or nuance. I also don't think he is attractive, but that is beside the point since that is not what he usually mentioned for. I also don't see the attraction to Patrick Dempsey. ![]() |

| This thread is cracking me up. We've really run with it! 11 pages in just a couple of days. I love Kevin Spacey. That is all.
