A plaque I made, from polymer clay, for my sister's classroom door for this school year. The farmhouse sketch. A card.

    Re: My art

I guess this is the right thead for this; I'm making pet beds to try to sell and these are my first 2. Feedback, anybody? I'd like to see if folks like this or if I'm putting a huge amount of time into something that won't sell; I need to get at least $150 per for these due to the time involved. I do have some materials to do some that will be less work, they can be cheaper and will have themes like "beach, "pirate", "girly", etc. I'm hoping I can sell some of these, plus little stuff like potholders and oven mitts with pet themes, to keep my nose out of the water for the 2 years it will take me to finish school.

Excuse the background on the first one; I'm keeping the finished beds in the junk room so the cats can't get on them.

Sounds interesting queenb, but did you intend to post some pics?

Ok, I see the pictures now. They weren't there before and for some reason I can't edit my post.

They are awesome! I wish I had the money. Roxie would love one.

I got the pictures. They're adorable. I like the second one best.

I really like the second one as well. I see fancy pet beds like that in stores, so I assume people purchase them. I love that the second one looks like a mini human bed.

I really like the second one also, but both are beautiful. I don't have pets so I don't know how something like that might cost, though.

Such lovely things in here! I'm a nature photographer who occasionally ventures out into street photography. Currently I'm selling my photos in local art galleries and I'm in the process of putting out a book to go with them. Not sure I'm ready for the national scene though, I rather enjoy the small town vibe.

    From yesterday morning:

And one of my more popular shots but not necessarily my favorite:

I'd buy those beds Queenb but knowing my pups - they wouldn't sleep on them.
