    Favourite savoury dish:

    - Eggplant in Chili-Garlic Sauce - Sichuanese style. Spicy, tender with fat, has the audacity to call itself vegetarian. When it's average, it's delicious. When it's excellent, it's perfect.

    Favourite dessert:

    - Portuguese egg tarts...heavenly stuff! Only had them twice, but I am ashamed to say I already like them better than my momma's delicious but rather traditional Chinese egg tarts. .

    Favourite drink:

    - Bubble tea. With milk. So pedestrian. Makes me feel like a kid again.

I have to have rice with almost every meal. I'm just really used to it. I can eat almost anything, too. My favorites are definitely curry and rice, chajang myun, neng myun, lo mein, and these meat patties my mom makes that are sooo good. My mom is a saint!

For me, it goes with the mood most of the time. See whether I'm craving for that food for that particular a-not.

Anything with chicken and rice and some kind of yummy sauce and vegetable is my favorite....could be Indian with some curry; Thai with a sweet and sour sauce & tomatoes & cucumbers; teriyaki with carrots and broccoli, or stir-fry. You get the idea!

Favorite dessert food is warm brownies with vanilla bean ice cream.

Sir Godfrey of the Nessie Alliance summoned the help of Scotland's local wizards to cast a protective spell over the lake and its local residents and all those who seek for the peaceful existence of our underwater ally. ~ Napoleon Dynamite

Just out of curiousity - is your mum of Chinese or Korean descent, cris? Please don't be offended - it's just that chajang myun and neng myun are noodle dishes that most Caucasians (unless they are real foodies, of course ) wouldn't be familiar with.
