Yes and no.

Many times where I work they throw out binders in excellent condition. I go to different departments and take them. The only reason they are "no good" is because too many people are too damn lazy to empty and reuse them. I complained about this 2 years ago when the company "restructured" aka fired a bunch of employees. I was told that keeping binders would not have saved jobs. My point fell on deaf ears. One of my instructors at the time got a small bookcase full. (Yes, I occassionally do go on)
