No. I have my four kids, and often their friends--one of them lived with us for 3 years when my boys were in high school. I had my cousin's three daughters off and on for several years. I have the boys after school now that have become like nephews to me. That's enough.

I would adopt only if the opportunity came my way (in other words, I'm not seeking it out). My husband's aunt is in her 60's and just this month is adopting an 8-month-old baby! I'm sure this is something she hadn't planned.
