Rhyme Time

Do you have a popcorn maker
or a Pampered Chef Baker?

It's time to be glad
That I am not cooking
We're having take-out
And that is good-looking (to me).

I'm making beans ...
First in the pot,
Then in the crock pot.
It makes the kitchen feel hot.

I cook on the grill
As much as I can
It helps me to
Not use the fan.

Grilling is something I don't do.
In fact, I don't even have a clue
How to operate a grill if I had to.

My hubby does the grilling
If truth be told
I just hand him the food
He doesn't have to be sold (on the concept)

Tonight we went out to get a quick bite
And when we came home we had such a fright
Trapped in our barn was a baby woodchuck
Who had been trying to eat through the door without any luck
Now we have to replace our doorjamb and casing
But first we need our hearts to stop racing!

Poor Baby had a fright
after a pleasant night!
Her hubby came to the rescue
of Baby and the woodchuck, too.

How much wood
would a woodchuck chuck
If a woodchuck
could chuck wood?

That's an old rhyme
from my Grandma's time!

I remember that rhyme
and say it from time to time.
