A gift for you all
Wrapped in innocence and love
Life begins anew
(Did I do that right? Please correct me if I didn't :nod )
It's perfect, Bunny! (3 lines, 5-7-5 syllables)
Congrats, lopevian and niece's parents!
I was going to compose a poem and realized, coincidentally, that
"Rain, rain, go away
Come again some other day" passes the rules for the first 2 lines (except that traditional haiku has no punctuation, IIRC)...I'm not even sure if I got the punctuation right on this old rhyme. :blush
Rain, rain, go away,
Come again some other day.
Little wants to play!
We've had enough rain
Even had a tornado
Up northwest of here.
Lunch with my friend Ann
Is on today's agenda.
We'll eat Mexican.
In the summer sky
the intense yellow orb causes
me to seek the shade.
Found back on page five
I have brought it to page one
it wants a new life.
I wish I knew how
To write this kind of nice verse
It would make me happy
I think you did a
very good job of composing
a happy Haiku
