I hate it when telemarketers call 24-7 and when you accidentally answer the phone for an "Unknown Number," you can't seem to get them off the phone without hanging up on them...

I hat it when your talking to someone and they know you're right and immediatley change the subject.

This is more of a pet peeve, but I can't stand when people give phone numbers verbally by large numbers.

Let's say the number is 555-8455.

The people that can't say, 8-4-5-5... they say Eighty four - fifty five.

It just irks me. Mainly because the guy gives out our number at work like that and people can never understand what he's saying.
If you go through a lot of hammers each month, I don't think it necessarily means you're a hard worker.
It may just mean that you have a lot to learn about proper hammer maintenance.

Ms. F. I agree with you. ex. 40 instead of 0000, then the number has to be clarified.

I also hate telemarketers when they don't get the name right.

To get rid of them I just put down the phone next to the radio or TV. This way they keep talking and I feel I'm saving someone else from getting their call.

My brother lets my young neices talk to them, that way they learn how to talk on the phone.

OOHHH Ms. F, my boss does this and it drives me batty!
I too hate when there is no ice. I use alot of ice and ALWAYS fill the trays (and rotate them so the oldest gets used first). Then my kids come and use it all up!

And for and original "I hate it when"...

When you hold the door for someone and they don't say thank you.

I hate it when I walk into a restaurant and am not greeted. I don't need to be helped at that precise moment, but all they need to do is acknowledge me. The phrase "I'll be right with you" goes a long way with me.
