It's just terminology! People make a big deal of this in.their..own.heads! I guess it pleases/comforts them, somehow.
Well, all I know is whether it was a fracture or break the pain I felt in my foot and ankle was beyond excruciating. And yeah, the orthopedic doctor told me that it was a
fracture of the metasarsal bone in the foot and the bones in the ankle. He specifically said "fracture."
A hairline fracture. A greenstick fracture. A compound fracture. A comminuted fracture. And on, and on, and on. What they all have in common are that they are all breaks. Some are worse than others, some are in more pieces than others, some hurt worse than others.
I hate it when a friend breaks (or fractures) any part of their body. :D
Thank you for your sense of humor! :clap:clap:clap
I hate it when some sickening "tabloid" such as National Enquirer keeps having celebrity death predictions and other lies and crap on their front cover for everybody at the cash register to see.
I hate it when every competition show is 2 hours long every week, or multiple times per week.
I hate it when an upset stomach keeps me from getting a good night's sleep and I go to work the next day exhausted (although sometimes I just call in sick when that happens).
I hate it when I get a paper cut! How stupid is that???? I kid you, not. :blush
