    Re: If...

I'd write down the license plate number if I could get it and slip a note under the damaged car's windshield.

If you were on a grocery checkout line and saw a $20. bill laying on the floor, would you scoop it up or inquire if anyone on line was missing any money?

I would give it directly to the cashier

If you saw someone returning their shopping cart to the corral with a bunch of trash in it, would you scowl at them?

    Re: If...

I'd tsk tsk under my breath...these days I'm afraid to confront any stranger for fear of what they might do.

If your town had an ordinance against lawn equipment operation before 8 am and some neighbor was not in compliance, would you speak directly to him/her, call the police, or just grin and bear it.

ECM I'd speak directly to them first, then if it continues, either grin and bear it or call the police, depending on how much it annoyed me.

    Bunny
    I'd probably just ignore it.

If you were home alone and thought you heard someone breaking into the house, what would you do?

Grab the lead pipe and assume the position.

Bunny, this friend sounds insentive and self-absorbed, which to my mind means they don't deserve a wonderful friend like you.

If you could have any piece of jewelry, what would it be?

    Kelly Preston's wedding band

If your child's class was going on a field trip, would you offer to be a chaperone?

    Well done.

Yes, I had a permanent seat on the field trip bus.

If you saw a parent berating their young child in a public place, would you speak up and intervene?

You bet I will - and I did, just last Spring

If you hear a child screaming, will you look to see if they are in an unsafe situation or just assume they are acting up?
