I wonder why football seems so complex to me, when even a child can understand it?

I wonder why British kids are so stnkin' cute! We had a family get-together on Sunday - my niece, who lives in London, brought her little boy (about 5 or 6) who was born there. What an amazing and interesting little person this is. It seems more than just the obvious words have two meanings - but some not-so-obvious ones do too. I was describing a flavor as "tart" - and he thought I was talking about, well, a "tart".

I'm also trying to figure out how to draft him into our grammar thread.
