I think burns and sunburns aren't initially supposed to be treated with anything like Vaseline, Neosporin, etc. because they are supposed to breathe, but I think Neosporin is really good for them with light gauze bandages when they begin to heal. Right?

Yes, usually letting cuts breathe is best. I think sometimes covering burns is best to keep bacteria off of them.
