Would you believe I'm going waaayyyyy outside my comfort zone and entering a pie baking contest this week? I'm practicing my chicken pot pie tonight, and tomorrow I'm going to work on praline-pumpkin. I'm scared to pieces - my hands are already clammy! But the prizes are such that it's worth it. First prize - trip to Vegas!! Second prize - a complete ski package - skis, boots, all the bells, whistles and a season pass. Fingers crossed!! (As long as no one spits theirs out on the plate, I'll feel like a winner!)

Would you believe that I can't sleep because the horrible B**CH above me walks with all the grace of a rhino on rollerskates? She has been thudding around and dropping what sounds like multiple bowling balls for the last 45 min. I'm about ready to go up there with my wild unstyled medusa hair and rip her a new one! How hard is it to grasp that YOU LIVE IN AN APARTMENT BUILDING and other people tend to sleep after 11pm? UGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!
