I suspect it's Mandy again... But I'm not sure... Anyway... I have no idea.

looked it up, it's "The Safest Place" by Leann Rimes
I’m looking for someone to change my life.
I’m looking for a miracle in my life.
And if you could see what it’s done to me
To lose the the love I knew
Could safely lead me to
The land that I once knew.
To learn as we grow old
The secrets of our souls.
Log off. That cookie sh*t makes me nervous. --Tony Soprano
So I said to him, "Look, buddy, your car was upside down when we got here. And as for your Grandma, she shouldn't have mouthed off like that!" --Homer Simpson

makes me shiver to the bone - shakes me babe
It's just a heartache that got caught in my eye"

New Clue: (I think QBoots may be from my generation and may get this one pretty easily)
"Oh its been too many times and I can't go back
Night bars, guitars, runned down motels like shacks
What it amounts up to I don't want it at all
Lost you and I need you today."
Daddio, you might be right there. And I definitely ain't catchin' no balls with your lyrics. I'm not with your generation. I just wanna say to you,
Daddio !!!

Yes Daddio, I too am a neanderthal. Your lyric sounds vaguely familiar, but sad to say I'm not quite getting it. Can you supply a hint?Originally Posted by Daddio

Why sure...here are a few hints...Originally Posted by Qboots
The band that sings the song from my clue were pretty big on FM radio in the late 70's-early 80's. Their name is derrived from the military term for something you might see in the sky prior to the war of the worlds or after a 12 pack.
The band is from England but their famous (infamous) lead guitarist is from Germany. His signature axe was a white Gibson Flying V. His brother is a guitarist in another rock band and the brother's band actually had more hits.
Sounds like you're talking about U.F.O. but I don't really know their stuff. The only songs of theirs I have are Doctor Doctor and Only You Can Rock Me and it doesn't sound like either of those.
