I'm not sure I agree with that... I think kids are lazy until they get into high school and realize that at the end of it all, they have to be able to get a job or go to college or do something with their lives... so they do buck up. I know I'm and my friends certainly aren't lazy now, but we were back in elementary school. I mean, decimals and fractions... soooo not challenging.
