I really don't have a favorite breed but am partial to medium to larger breeds. I think the toy breeds are cute, but not for me. We had an English cocker spaniel as a child who was prone to medical problems. We have had two mixed breeds and by and large I find less problems with mixed breeds than purebreeds. JMHO
