"Winter" by Kylie

The icy chill of winter arrives quickly,
Blowing it's frosty breath onto the world,
As snowflakes fall gently and ice encrusts tree branches.
Children play happily, making snow angels
And watching their breath disappear into the air like a cloud of
smoke.

What can I do in three minutes?
Tell a story, drink a liter
or ponder this
what the hell is iambic pentameter

why oh why did i eat pie
it called to me & crawled to me
into my tummy it did flee
for on it's tail was ice cream pail
i ate it too, i'm fat as pooh

Here's one for the folks on the Hockey thread:

They fly on blades of steel,
These gladiators of the ice,
They weild their sticks as swords and staffs
Their movements like a knife
And though Saint Patrick it is said
Guards his net like it's a vault
Just remember when the Avalanche lose
That it was Skoula's fault

I was lead to Fort
I didn't find it on my own
It is filled with many treasures
And I now call it home.
