Our neighbors (during my youth) kept peacocks in a pen in their yard.
(A) Peacock and peahen pair lived at the campground where we would have our family reunions in the fall.
Quite interested I would be in hearing how difficult it is to raise and care for a peacock.

There is an Indigo parrot who lives there now (her name is Martha) who is a well know escape artist.
