Being that I'm Italian, you'd think that I could tolerate garlic but I can't. Love it but it doesn't love me.

Cooking with garlic is in my blood as I am of Italian descent on both sides of the family. My oldest son, a vegetarian, doesn't eat garlic or onion at all as he says it interferes with his meditation. It is nerve-wracking to try to cook a vegetarian meal without those 2 essential ingredients, when he is home.

Does the garlic interfere with his meditation, or his medication?

Eating grapefruit interferes with my medication.

For what it's worth, I don't like grapefruit, so I don't have to worry about that.

Grapefruit is not a favorite of mine either, along with papaya and mango.

Have I not read just today of the healing power of mango? Mangoes and other carotenoids like cantaloupe, carrots, sweet potatoes, and spinach help one have glowing skin. Mango, especially, is known as the "kryptonite" for acne.

I bet it's the vitamin A in those orange fruits that help combat acne.
