    KatesMom, these are zeppole. Basically they are pizza dough deep fried and sprinkled with powdered sugar. You can get them at some pizzerias and usually at carnivals in the summertime.

    They have different names depending on where you live but delish no matter what you call them. I prefer mine with sauce and grated cheese.
