All I seem to want to do is sleep when the temps are cold.
I did not get a wink of shut eye last night. :ohno
That is too bad, B B. When one has lots of things on one's mind, it is hard to sleep. My dog woke us up in the dark of night to be let out. She barked and barked and so we did not have a good sleep at all.
Our dogs sleep well, but if a deer comes close, the small guy lets us know. He has a great sense of smell. If we are in the car, he will smell where they cross and bark. I kid you not.
Last month there was a road I had to ride most nights. Three nights in 2 weeks there was a fresh killed deer in the road. They were all quite close to the same spot. The folks that hit those deer might have been glad to have the small dog of BB in their cars. I saw one of the cars that hit the deer and it had a huge dent.
That's a shame, P B. I wish deer were road wise. No one likes to have to take their car to the paint shop.
A few weeks before now a gal hit a deer near where I live. She did not live. Nor did the deer. I was near noon on a week day. :(
That is so sad, P B. We do not have deer where I live but they live out east on the Isle.
The deer are on each street here. The street where the gal died had lots of cars and a Lowes and a Cost Co
Oh my, P B. In a spot like that, where you stop and start, I would not have thought she would get that hurt. Did it go through her wind shield? Poor gal. Where we live, we can go at quite a clip 'cause the signs say so. Lots of folks hit the deer but I do not hear sad tales such as that one.
