Re: GAME: One Syllable
Aww. We have had hop hops and I feel the same way. I should tell you a tale, though. At one time we had two, and they were bro and sis. The bro would look out for his sis. One day, as we brought our dog through the big door, the bro had a fright and so he gave a thump with his feet. This was to warn his sis, and is what they do. His thump caused him pain, though, and he could not hop from that point on. Our girl had to wash him and feed him 'til the day he passed. His sis lived on for years and our girl taught her how to use a cat's pan. That bro's love for his sis was the kind of love my girl wished to live on. I tell you this 'cause I don't want your hop hop to thump too hard. :ohno We do not know why he felt such fright as he and his sis were in their hutch at the time, and our dog was brought in each night so it was not new to him. Poor guy.

Re: GAME: One Syllable
That is a sad tale. I will try to keep my bun safe.
I had a fright last week when I went out to the hutch in the morn and found the latch off and the door wide o'en! Lil bun was in there, safe and sound, but he could have jumped out or been grabbed by a dog. The hutch is up in the air, but the "new" dog is quite tall and could have put his snout in there. Oh my!

Re: GAME: One Syllable
PHEW! It sounds like your bun knows some tricks! Which makes me think of a sad tale 'bout a horse. Hub's fam had a horse who popped his gate and he ate and ate and ate. The gate was made of steel so it is not known how he did it, but it turned out bad. Hub's dad's heart was broke.
...and that is the end of my bad tales. :laugh

Re: GAME: One Syllable
Yes, that is quite a sad tale. The horse ate til he could eat no more.
Now we will have to think of a tale that brings a smile.

Sun makes me smile. A bow in the sky makes me smile, too.

Re: GAME: One Syllable
I did not know that fact 'bout a horse. I do not know much 'bout farm life. My son's gal friend knows lots 'bout the horse. She went to school and now she works with them. In the warm months my son would go with her from time to time and help her with her horse chores. Then he would come home and stink!

Re: GAME: One Syllable
Barns have a smell that I kind of like.

Re: GAME: One Syllable
I don't mind the smell of a fresh - baled hay field.

Re: GAME: One Syllable
If you smell a bad smell for a while, you get used to it.
