We had frost last night and I felt so bad 'cause I could not get my big door to go up to bring in our dog. She has a house with hay but I heard her bark as she had a wish to come in. Poor girl. I need to go to the store to buy a new part so my door will go up.

Is it the door that leads to where the car is stored, BB? Poor dog! I hope she did not get too cold. My dog knows a trick. I have a French door that does not have a knob but a hand L. She knows to jump up on the hand L to let her self in. The bad part of this trick is that she does not know how to shut the door when she comes in. She could push it closed with her big tail or her long, long snout but we have not taught her that yet.

Your dog is a good lad.

Yes, that is the door I speak of. I found her in a tight ball on the lawn, not in her house. I do not know why... and she did not eat all her food this day. I think she may be a bit sad 'cause "dad" is off his feet and can not take her in and out like she is used to. I give her a pat and a warm grin but it is not the same as "dad's" I guess.

I know what you mean. My "girl" likes my spouse way more than she likes me. And I am the one who is home with her all day who gives her clean food, drink, and treats. But dad is the one who walks her. What can you do? I hope your gal warms up and is good as new soon!

Thanks, E C M. I just brought her in and she had a bounce in her step. I think she smelled the pie I warmed.

How is your door now, BB? I hope it goes up and down.

My dog likes her new friend, a dog I will watch til the man who owns him comes home from the pysch ward. The man had an o'er dose 'cause he was blue, but now he is on the mend. His dog is big and so nice. He looks like he has a "grin" and wags his tail a lot. He likes to play tug o' war with my dog. They shred cloth left and right.

It does not, but we have two, so I duck in and out that side now. (The part I need is at a store far off and I have not had a chance to get there, but I hope to soon.)

When the man you know comes home, he will be glad to see his dog... man's best friend, they say. He will help to put the spark back in his eyes. It is sweet that you help this man and his dog. I wish to know how your hop hop feels 'bout this!

The "new" dog gave us a scare when he tore at the hutch to try to eat lil' hop-hop. I had to run and rant and rave ... I looked like a crazed gal. But the dog is smart 'nuff to know that he should stay 'way from the hutch. I'm sure he does not want to hear my screams 'gain. I can say that now all is well in the back yard.

By the way, have I told you folks how sweet my lil' hop-hop is? I did not know what a nice pet a lil' hop-hop would be.
