One tale I have heard is, on tie the knot day if it rains, that means good luck.
I have heard that too. :nod We had snow. I don't know what that means but it made for a slick ride home for my maid. She went in a ditch, poor thing. :mmm
Aww...that is too bad, B B. :ohno Our tie the knot day was hot, and it did rain in the wee hours of that day then it quit.
So you got both the luck and the sun! :yay
Yep! :D
Yes, they do say that when it rains on the tie the knot day that it bodes good luck. But, I think that they say that so the bride will not feel bad. I can say that it poured on my tie the knot day and in 6 months I will be wed 3 times 10 years. May be there is some truth to that tale?
Well, the sun was out the day I wed and I split with my ex a long time past. We stuck it out 2 times 10 years. That was way too long for me!!!!
Sad he turned out to be a stiff but he did give you three great kids. :heart
Kids bring smiles and hard times, too.
My kids are all old now and have their own kids.
