Re: GAME: One Syllable
And some mems are not so dear at all. I could tell a tale 'bout Tom S. Isle but I will have to check first to see if son # 2 is in plain sight.

Re: GAME: One Syllable
I hope it was a case of "all's well that end's well", with not too many bad "mems" mixed in.

Re: GAME: One Syllable
He was 'bout 8 and prone to those fits that kids have when they need sleep. We got on the boat that was to take us to the isle and he starts to scream non stop. He wants to go home, he wants to go home. I don't want to go to the isle. No no no. Well we could not turn back. We get to the isle and hubs takes off with son # 1. Thanks a bunch, hubs!
So I had to wait for the next boat to take us back b/c son would not budge from the dock. Did not want to do a thing. All the peeps gave us strange looks. I felt help less and a bad mom. The next day we were on line for some ride or show. This not known man ( to us) gives my hub a nod and said "Oh I see he (son) has calmed down now." Oy vey! What a night mare!

Oy vey is right, and we had one when my first son was 3 and had a fit when he had to walk on to a plane. Good thing he had his blank ee with him or else we would still be there.....

Oh dear! Those kind of mems are not what one wants to have, but it is good that you both can talk 'bout them now with light hearts.
